The French Department seeks 1 Course Instructor for the following course:
FSL102H1S - Elementary French II
An intensive basic course in spoken and written French for students who have studied some French, but who have not yet attained the entry level for FSL120H1
Minimum Qualifications
Doctoral student. University-level language teaching experience, fluency in French and English.Ìý
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of the use of Quercus, specifically test manager and communication tools.
Relevant Criterion
Past teaching experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience in respect of this posted position.
Duties
- Teaching a language course
- Preparation of lectures and related course materials, contact hours, marking of assignments and tests, final assessments if applicable, online tutorials, meeting with course coordinator and Teaching Assistant.
- Availability for in-person meetings and office hours on STG campus for the duration of the contract
Duties of this position shall be performed at the campus on which the position is located. Where the duties are intended to be performed at another location, such other location will be specified in the posting.
Final availability of the position(s) is contingent upon enrolment, budgetary consideration and the determination of appointments as governed by the collective agreement.

TUT0401: Friday 9:00a.m. – 10:00a.m.
